X-Mas Gifts for PC Users — a precursor to future articles titled “PC Gifts for X-Box Users”. I should have pulled this cover out over a week ago. :)

- The first PC pioneer: I just read that article, it’s fiction about Santa Claus having an elf named Tek. Nothing to learn here.

- New PS/1 Products: Everything new is old again; if I recall correctly the PS/2 came out first.

- The BACKUP and RESTORE commands: A DOS feature everyone missed.

- Going Online, What You Need: From the article, you need a Hayes B-series Ultra Smartmodem 9600 and a subscription to CompuServe, Prodigy, GEnie, AOL, Delphi… and an MCI Mail account. (No mention of The WELL!)

- Grammar Checking Software: Did I mention they misspelled “feature” at the top of that Pioneers article?

Love it!
